Week 5

Well, with great thanks to Ben Stacy, I finally was able to complete this assignment. Everytime I posted the Library Thing link, I thought I was doing it wrong because it didn't look like it would work. The final time, Ben tells me to type something in the search box, and ~Voilé~ it brought up a drop-down box with results. Ben said he was only on Week 2, but he has helped me over a number of rough spots and deserves some credit. Thank you, Ben!

Week 5 "My Library Thing"

Here is "My Library Thing". There are so many things you can do with this: find reviews, talk about, form groups, etc. April Earl had actually introduced me to this a year ago. The real trick for me was remembering my password. Now that I added a few books and customized my homepage, it is a little more interesting.

Week 5

After working with a couple of generators, (baby generator, Holloween pumpkin, and photos) I finally was able to get a flag to fly on my sidebar. If you click on it you can get it to wave. However, there are pop ups that followed the post from "Make Sweet" that I can't control.

Week 4

After a lot of experimenting with Flikr, and a lot of failures, the slide show finally was able to "slide" onto my Blog for you to enjoy. I have learned so many things, especially with the help of co-workers.
Working on WEEK 4 I enjoyed the eases of http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0klgLsSxGsU&feature=related and discovered that I had already created the Feeds into my Blogline account. How easy was that? I didn't even know that I had done it. Of course, now I am trying to figure out how to link them directly to my Blog here. I will subscribe to some of the other bloggers on O!What a Geek.
Some of the Feeds that are in my Blogline are:

Hurrah!

I've finally learned how to delete my posts that are big mistakes. Each day I learn something new.
I'm a lifelong learner.

Week 3 continued

If you would like to see more photos of the boxing up of Sorensen Branch you might have success with the "Tag" Sorensen Library Remodel. Or you may try this link:http://www.flickr.com/photos/30617397@N04/ Good luck!

We've come so far!

Can you believe this? We were packing up and created such a mess in our workroom. It is a different world now.
